I first saw Anjuli's work on Twitter and Etsy, and commissioned her to paint two custom 28mm minis for my main campaign. Absolutely fantastic experience all around! Anjuli was great with communication as I sent references and shipped the minis, and her turnaround time for the painting itself was phenomenal. Best of all, the minis looked fantastic! Anjuli has a great eye for detail (gravestone, cobblestones, fabric, and eyebrows are just *some* of the details she nailed) and for color (I loved how well she matched the refs I sent), and the minis are mailed tight and secure with lots of visible love. Highly, highly recommend commissioning Anjuli!
I received my miniature back from Demon Miniature Painting and it was painted to a high standard. Communication and updates were regular with a fast response to any questions I had.
I’ve ordered several commissions from Nick and have been nothing less than pleased and impressed, so much so that I commissioned a custom kill team of Grey Knights as a gift that was well received. The quality of Nick’s work is well worth it, and his willingness to listen to and actualize the requests of his customers rather than simply prescribe his own project as their commission is refreshing. He’s my go to for commissioning and I can’t recommend him enough.
Nick's work is outstanding. He has done several 40K characters for me and my Imperial Commisar is absolutley beautiful. One of my Centerpieces. Quality work, fair prices, and quick turn around. If you need work done, Nick is your guy.
Nick did a great job with a custom paint scheme for my Fyreslayers. I would highly recommend him for any painting commissions.
I've never been a fan of painting larger scale models for my Warhammer armies, and Nick has repeatedly risen to the challenge of handling my bigger units. He's handled three separate larger projects for me -- an Helverin, a FW Custodes Grav-Transport, and Celestant Prime -- very quickly, and they've matched the rest of my army motifs great. He takes the time to ask many specifics regarding how you want your models done, from basing to color matching, and posts plenty of progress photos along the way. He even tackled my admittedly-quite-large Arcadia Quest collection of adventurers for a very reasonable price as well. I happily recommend Nick for his stuff!
Thank you again D6 for delivering another issue of great hobby!
Looking forward to seeing more!
Issue 6 is awesome. There are some really cool tutorials for every skill level. The tutorials on making your own game tokens was a great idea. If you are looking at The Golden D6 for the first time, do yourself a favor and just get the other 5 back issues as well - you won't regret it. Keep up the fantastic work! I can't wait for the next issue.
The guys behind the golden D6 mag did it again! Another packed issue full of great content that reminds me of the old good 80s and 90s. This magazine has content! Looking forward to more issues!
This is a great issue of The Golden D6. Getting to know Andy Chambers and the fantastic battle report were both great. The incredible painting and modelling tutorials are what keep me coming back to this. I love these old-school tutorials that don't cost the earth to create.
Adam has set out to capture the nostalgia of the old White Dwarfs and that is exactly what this magazine does for me. Great stuff..
